Decemeber 21, 2012. End of the world, well not really. It was just a beginning to a new age. The Mayan's as brilliant as they where and the Doctor really did respect them, don't get that wrong please and thank you -- knew better. The Earth didn't end on the day of the winter solecist at noon or anything that drastic. He knew, he had been beyond 2012 and even took Rose Tyler with him. He showed her the day the Earth finally died and got burned by the sun going super red giant. He had taken Martha Jones to the end of the Universe with Captain Jack Harkness clinging onto the TARDIS for dear life. 2012 was not the end of the line.
Grinning madly, the Doctor looked around London and wondered what would have happened if he still was with Rose. She would probably joke with him about being at the end of the world and all and he would go on his explanatory some what serious expression to explain to her why it really was only the beginning of the Human race evolving. He made a sad smile thinking of her and shook his head. She was gone now. He had Donna to look after. Donna Nobel. The Doctor and Donna. It clicked, it seemed right, not as someone he wanted to be with romantically but as a mate. That was all he needed from Donna. She was a good mate too. He liked having someone to travel with. He needed someone to travel with.
Looking around he seemed to have gotten lost, and let Donna run off shopping or whatever she did. He liked being alone now and again to go exploring on his own. Sometimes he would fine the most interesting things or people. Perhaps it would be one of those sort of days. His eyes lit up as he spotted a ginger haired woman. Not being ginger, but rude the Doctor walked over to her and announced, "I love your hair. I wish I could have hair like that. My friend, Donna has hair like that. But I never once was ginger. Isn't that sad?"
