"Whoa, easy now. Hold on!" He leaned back against the spinning TARDIS who did not exactly wish to cooperate with the Doctor's steering though the vortex. She wanted to take him another route for whatever the reason while the Doctor wanted to go to Piza and help Galilee Galileo with his experiments with two dimensional Kinematics (forces acting in the x and y direction). It sounded like fun, dropping different masses of water buckets from the Tower of Piza. But no, the TARDIS was not approving of this idea as she happened to have something else in mind....
An hour later, the TARDIS was still not cooperating at all. She was being stubborn which worked nicely as the Doctor was a very stubborn individual. He frowned and put his hands up. "Fine take me where you want then, I give up fighting with you but remember this, you owe me a trip to Piza."
With this the TARDIS purred contently under the console and she led the Doctor deeper into the vortex and rasped into materialization.
"I love this bit, surprises!" he noted as he pulled on his long tan coat that Janis Joplin had given him during his adventures at Woodstock. Rushing to the doors, the Doctor pulled them open and locked the TARDIS behind him and looked out at the landscape.
Blinking he found himself somewhere that he had never been before. He liked the thought of that and smiled to himself. It was defiantly 21st century. He could feel the Earth under his feet and quickly calculated using acceleration and downward force of gravity that indeed he was on the planet Earth-- but where. He knew the relative when, as he had concluded that it was the 21st Century.
There were desks beyond the TARDIS with fancy computing systems. The Doctor, who had a natural knack for this sort of thing went over to them with his sonic screwdriver at hand. He began to try and hack the systems. The sonic screwdriver buzzed blue in his hand as he looked over the computer with his brainy specs dangling off his nose. He looked like he knew what he was doing, and honestly he had no idea. He was doing it all on a whim based on the pervious tasks that he had completed before. It wasn't too hard to get into the system the Time Lord found moments later and soon his pupils widened with the things he had found. Perhaps he shouldn't have toyed with the system to begin with. It had made him rather angered.
"I AM SHUTTING YOU LOT DOWN NOW!" he announced using the speaker system that he hacked into. "This whole place is shutting down under XXIII in the Shadow Proclamation."
Of course that was a very stupid idea... but the Doctor was raged and people (even Time Lords) do very stupid things when angered.

Competing the scanning on the new alien, Owen had decided to call it. “Henry” It was species 12345 in the files but Owen had named it Henry. Owen still had a bandage on his neck. “Henry” was the alien who choked Owen and gave Owen a neck injury and Stray was the one who shot it. Owen still had the black and blue bruise from Daniel’s punch too. But Stray had been a victim to a rift rip. A rift opened up, and pulled her to another time and space. They don’t know. Things seemed to hectic in Boston. Maybe the Bostonians are right. Boston is the HUB of the universe. And all this time Owen thought it was Cardiff that got all the attention.
Yesterday Owen had gone out to help an American Air Force pilot, who came through the rift. Captain John Scott was his name. But Captain John Scott is actually Gray, Captain JackHarkness’ brother. That is a long story. Owen had Captain John Scott in sick bay of the Torchwood Four. It was bigger than Torchwood Three but it was Owen’s work station. Owen felt he was playing leader and doctor at the same time.
Checking Captain John Scott’s status, Owen heard a voice on the speakers. I AM SHUTTING YOU LOT DOWN NOW!” Owen rolled his eyes. “I am so going to kill that person!” Owen growled and putting the clip board down on his desk.
Pressing the earpiece, Owen stopped and forgot that the team was away in Providence, Rhode Island and Awren was on a run. Literally she was on the run for something. Owen had wondered if Jenny would ever stop by Torchwood after there famous meet up at Torchwood Three. Owen had liked Jenny’s perkiness.
Owen pressed the button to use the computer. No response. He hit the key again. It seemed the systems had gone down. Now Owen was mad. Pulling out his gun, Owen slowly and quietly started working his way around Torchwood Four.
Owen moved wicked cautiously, to the hub of the base and he saw a tall blue box. Owen moved up to it and hid behind it. Peeking around the police box, Owen saw a tall skinny bloke. Taking a deep breath, Owen quickly stepped out from behind the blue box holding the gun at the Doctor. “Slowly step away from the computer,” Owen said slowly to the Doctor.

When her father had said that he would be right back, Jenny had thought that he had meant that he would be right back. A quick trip, it would only take a moment. And that moment had turned into several days of her hanging out under a large bridge with a few nice people who got their heat from burning combustibles in a large metal can and taking long walks around the area to explore the strange world around her.
It was during one of these trips that she noticed someone rather familiar. The figure was walking into an incredibly large building. And Jenny being Jenny stealthily followed him with a bright smile on her face, knowing that whatever he was up to would have to be more exciting then walking around the streets of an unknown human city.
She entered the building. It seemed a desolate place, devoid of any apparent life. She listened quietly, gauging the location that Owen had traveled. Between Owen’s whispered unhappy words and the familiar voice that seemed to come from all-around her she felt a twinge of excitement. Jenny continued to follow Owen she saw him as he crept around her father’s blue box.
Jenny watched in horror as Owen raised his gun and pointed it at her father. Instinct kicked in. That protective feeling that she got when anyone threatened her father. Reaching down she gripped her own gun and pointed it at the back of Owen’s chest as he stood before her with his back turned. She looked at him in anger and armed her gun with a audible click.
“Drop the gun Owen, drop it now or I will kill you.” There was a deathly calm on her face; it was a calm that rang true within her voice. She was calm, too calm, at least on the outside. But on the inside she was screaming in rage. This scenario was too similar, to comparable to the last time she had meant him. It also seemed too similar to the time her father was endangered by a man with a gun.
Last time she took that bullet, she had died and it was something that would never happen to her dad if it was at all in her power to stop it. She would feel the pain of having to kill this human. She knew that now, just as she had felt the sadness and despair that engulfed her when she had killed the weevils. But when it was a choice between this human and her father; the decision would be made and that would not be in Owen’s favor.
“Don’t make me say it again, that’s my father you’re pointing that gun at and I WILL shoot you, so drop it.” She said.

Feeling the steel barrel up against his chest, Owen knew he was in trouble. It was Jenny the one who held the gun against Owen’s chest. Owen wasn’t sure how he gets in these situations. He was not the type to buy a lotto ticket. He really did not like guns pointing at him. Owen even did not like being in danger.
Handing his gun over to Jenny, Owen knew he was in a losing situation. He hated to be in this situation. To make it worse, the girl was the daughter of the intruder. Owen quickly wondered how Jenny got in Torchwood.
Owen remembered the skinny bloke said something about a XXIII in the Shadow Proclamation. He was going to ask what the hell was this proclamation of a shadow. It did sound like bullocks to Owen.
Perhaps Jenny was stringing him along. Was this a security breach? Did this man really planned to close down Torchwood. Was Jenny and her dad been crimes in partners? And Owen was lucky enough to fall for it. Yea, that was a possible. But Owen will deny it. He has his pride for sake.
Owen was in trouble. He had no back up. This was not a time to be sarcastic. He held it. He so want to say something. He wanted to ask questions. God he really wished Toshiko, or Gwen, Captain Jack Harkness to be here. Even Ianto would be good to have along. Owen life was in Torchwood. But he was in Boston Torchwood. It was a whole different Torchwood. It was run by Captain Jack Harkness. But Owen away from HIS Torchwood Three.

She turned around a few times ducking under the rails with her hand on her head, she was lost yet again. With a thud and a small squeal she fell to the floor with her clothes falling on top of her, all she had wanted was a jacket or a jumper as she had gotten cold but no the TARDIS seemed to have wanted the female to get lost. Not only was it embarrassing to get lost but it was in the closet of all places, somewhere that no one should get lost not if they had a brain. Donna crawled her way from underneath the clothes before getting to her feet where she took a deep breath and with a wave of her hand walked away to the main area of the TARDIS. “You trap me, you can clean up the mess”
The red haired female walked down the stairs rubbing dirt off of her clothes and checking that she looked ok on the way. She was wearing a pair of dark jeans along with a white top and now a black jacket that went with her black boots that she was simply in love with, they were from the future after all so she knew that no one would have them. The thought produced a smile on Donnas lips which soon disappeared however when she saw that the Doctor wasn’t there she frowned tilting her head towards the door which was wide open.
“He left me” she muttered to herself sighing in an annoyed fashion yet all the same walked towards the door where she saw him at some kind of console “Oi you alien boy, forget about me or something?” Donna walked out of the TARDIS shutting the door behind her where she looked around the location with the frown still pasted on her face. Well it was a frown until she saw the gun pointed in the Doctors direction. “What have you gotten us into?” she asked with a shocked expression.
Her eyes suddenly caught Jenny’s figure also holding a gun where she grinned widely and ran towards her. In that moment she had forgotten about the gun and the Doctor, Jenny was alive and that was enough for her. “Your alive, how?” she began quickly “Wait let me guess that whole regenara thing that your dad does right? Am I close? Isn’t this great Doctor?” Donna embraced the female quickly until she remembered the gun that had been pointed at her time lord a few moments before. “Oi you” she said to the unknown male annoyed although it probably wasn’t a clever thing to say when someone was holding a gun yet that was Donna speak first and think later “Jenny I would put the gun down you know your dad hates them” she whispered gently.
She wasnt sure weither to return to the Doctors side or stay with Jenny yet decided the latter as she wasn't one for fighting. No if they had a weapon anyway as her mouth wasnt that good at fending off people, it scared the Doctor sure and kept her human friends in line yet she doubted that it would work on the male in front of her. Besides she didnt know if he was even human.

Jenny breathed a sigh of relief as Owen handed over his gun. The man seemed so impulsive that she had been sure that he would have tried to turn and shot her. But sometimes, she supposed, no one dies, no one gets hurt. She carefully took Owens weapon and with one sure hand, released the clip onto the hard cold floor. With a sweep of her foot she kicked it away and tossed Owens weapon into the opposite direction from the clip. She did not glance to see where either had gone. Her eyes never left her target.
“Good, don’t wanna have to hurt you now do I?” She said feeling most of the tension leave her now that her dad seemed to be safe. The surprise over took her. It over took her in the vision of a fiery redheaded woman who came at her from out of nowhere. But this woman was not a threat. She was what Jenny would call her best friend; a sort of mother figure. She was Donna, the woman who had given Jenny her name, her own identity.
She felt a rush of happiness that she had not felt in what seemed like ages. She had missed Donna terribly. Jenny couldn’t contain herself and let the naked joy of happiness radiate across her face in a bright smile. But when Donna whispered that she should put her gun away she frowned. “But… but… he might do something stupid. He seemed a violent and unstable sort last time I saw him.” Jenny said in response.
“Owen, you’re not going to do anything stupid are you, if I put this away?” She asked with an edge to her voice that spoke volumes. It clearly said, Owen, I don’t really trust you not to do something stupid. She lowered her weapon and replaced it within her holster. Then her face turned once again to that of an all happy child. “Donna, I missed you!” She said. The excitement almost seeming that it would make her bubble and burst. “I don’t know what happened… I… hold on,” she stopped and stared. “You mean that is suppose to happen? But then why did you leave me behind!!?”
