She had just finished another job to say the least. It had been a simple one, just grab the stupid item and give it to the person who had wanted it. Some might of called it petty thieving, however for as much as the guy was paying her to steal the item, they could have called it anything and she wouldn’t have cared. Although, the money didn’t honestly matter to her. She did it more for the thrill, to satisfy a hunger to the side that she would not unleash. A super soldier, the only female super soldier, who had been created in blood and revenge and war. Yet she was trying to be different, trying to live a life away from what she was, and the people who are hunting her. But that didn’t mean she couldn’t skip out in all the fun. So Hadley found a new fun. Stealing.
After a night well spent, she figured it would be best to finally wind down. Hadley had stopped at the bar for a couple of drinks, but with her metabolism, it rarely mattered. Besides, it had given her time to think about certain things. Okay, fine. To think about one thing, or one person rather. Ranger. She had no idea what was going on between them, nor did she understand anything about relationships and whatever they had. But the thing was, she couldn’t stop thinking about him. It kind of annoyed her really. She had to distract herself with a walk through the park just so she wouldn’t just use the wrist strap to teleport back to his cabin just to see if he was there. No.. Hadley was better than that.
Drawing in a small sigh, she walked against the cobblestone pathway, her head tilted up to the sky. For once it was a clear night. The stars like diamonds twinkling in the night sky. To her, it looked beautiful. Even though it didn’t keep her mind off of things, it was certainly calming herself down. The smell of the dew on the grass, the pines that lined the path, it was all perfect. Nature had a way of calming the beast. So much so that she really wasn’t paying attention in front of her, or rather where she was going. Cause that always ends perfectly…

It had been another late night working at the hub well more like two straight days. There was something coming towards earth and Jack still hadn't said much about it but was making sure that the team was more than ready for it. Between that they had another alien come through the rift and cause trouble which they had to take care of. Luckily for them it was late at night when the creature came through and the city was pretty much asleep.
Daniel knew why Jack was keeping him busy and the reasons why he pushed him so hard buth e wouldn't speak of them. Sure he joked to Owen about it but that was just it, a joke. Nothing happened between the two of them and Daniel was kind of thankful for that. He wasn't sure how strange things would be once that line was crossed. Not having gone to the surface much today, Daniel was in need of fresh air and something to eat outside of pizza for once. So he told Jack he would be back in twenty.
His hand reached up and he pulled the hood to his hoodie up as he took a short cut through the park. It was a chilly night out at least for him. Even thuogh he was away from the Hub, his mind was still thinking and stuck in work mode. Daniel knew if something came up, Jack could get a hold of him but he was still wondering about what was coming towards Earth. Whatever it was, had Jack on the edge so Daniel knew it couldn't be good. At least this time when trouble showed up, he could do more about it then just patch someone up or draw the attacker's attention. His blue eyes looked around the park, it was peaceful and releaxing.
Those things made him realize how tired he was and how long he had been pushing him. Daniel hadn't slept any in the last two days even while the team grabbed naps well beside one member of the team. He noticed someone walking ahead and he wondered why they were out so late in the evening.

Hadley seemed too lost in her thoughts to actually take notice of the things surrounding her. It was a moment where she had put her guard down, something that rarely happened. It usually was a fortress around her, sealing her in her own protective bubble. It was also due to the fact that she was a super soldier. There would be no doubt that people would be looking for her because of that. Or perhaps because she had stolen from someone. Either way, it would be very likely that there would be a chance of gunfire. As much as she could heal, she didn’t feel like dealing with it anyway. Besides, she was already trying to heal from the last job she had done. It wasn’t like she could instantly get better. Where there used to be a large gash on the side of her face, from her eye to the bottom of her cheek, was merely just a small cut barely even bleeding. A few more cuts and a small bullet wound in her arm, she was used to it. Used to pushing past the pain. Never the less, it wasn’t a good idea to let her guard down. Yet, there she was staring at the damn stars and not watching where she had been going.
Hadley didn’t even hear the footsteps of the man that was walking in front of her. Which was odd seeing as she had heightened senses. But she seemed so engrossed in the stars above her that it didn’t even matter. She had loved travelling the stars, seeing what there was beyond the night sky. Yet, there was a close encounter with a few agents, and Hadley had been lying low ever since. She liked her freedom way too much. She didn’t want to go back. Hadley was too busy trying to figure out human emotions and how to be human and not the monster that she was before. Minus her thieving, she liked that too much to give up.
Another step, and she completely bumped into the guy, her wounded arm hitting against him causing a sharp intake of breathe and a low growl to emit from her. [“Hey watch where you’re..” Hadley cut herself off when she finally got to look at him. It was as though her words seemed to have gotten lost in the mix. Her nose crinkled up, and a small tilt of her head as she studied the man in front of her. Something about him seemed so familiar. What was even more odd was the monster inside of her was clawing to get out. Instead of doing what any normal person would do and apologize, Hadley’s hand immediately went to her gun and drew it out, pointing it at the stranger. “Who are you… what are you.”

When it came to putting up personal walls and guards, Daniel didn't have many. Sure he was quiet at times and kept to himself but it was because he was not good around large groups of people or those he didn't know. His family, Jack, Ianto and Gwen were those he was able to open up and share with. Owen was like that older brother that he never got along with even though he didn't care much for the other man. He had a feeling it was because he took Owen's spot on the team and the other man felt threaten by it. The thing was that Daniel didn't mean anything by taking the offer Jack had gave to him. Only that he wanted to do more, be apart of something greater.
If he was anything other than human, he had no idea. Sure he noticed small things here and there but he pushed them to the back of his mind and tried not to think about it. Of course he was worried if something were to happen and work and the others noticed but he thought he could handle that issue when it came up. When Daniel wanted to be, he could be rather quiet and pretty much vanish. If someone wanted to find him when he didn't want to be found, well they were screwed then. So as he made his way through the park, his hands were tucked into the pockets of his leather jacket and he was walking as quietly as he normally did. By the time he noticed the women, it was too late and she had bumped into him. The action caused Daniel to stumble back a little but didn't lose his balance.
His eyes looked over at the women when he heard her voice. "You should be one talking. Why don't you watch where you are walking, your the one who bumped into me." He told her, his voice holding just a hint of a British accent. Daniel could noticed that she was pissed off and it just wasn't from the tone of her voice. However he noticed that soon faded she looked at him as if he had something strange on his face or jacket. He wasn't sure who she was but she gave him an uneasy feeling. All he wanted to do was get out of there and then he had every right when she pulled out the gun and pointed it at him. "Just a Paramedic who is walking home from work. Lower that gun." Daniel had put his hands up, telling her the truth. He was unarmed at the moment, knowing Jack would chew him out for that one if he was around.

Hadley wasn’t used to freaking out, and she certainly did not pull her gun in the middle of a public park unless it was a life or death situation. The problem was, the man that was standing in front of her wasn’t allowing her to think. He just seemed so familiar but Hadley could not place it at all. It was certainly freaking her out. How could she not remember? Sure, there was a lot she didn’t when she’d gone all super soldier, but she was better than that now. Besides, what were the chances that another super soldier was in Cardiff? The gun remained there for a moment, her nose crinkling up again. “Just a paramedic, I don’t think so. You smell human but it’s off. What are you some kind of shifter, or alien? You do not smell like a normal human!” She said, her gray eyes studying him.
A slight dull ache in the back of her eyes seemed to grow the more she stood there trying to figure out who exactly the man in front of her was. Even though she held the gun, her finger was not on the trigger. She obviously didn’t intend to shoot him. It was as if the man that stood before her was clawing at her old self to come out, something she was afraid of, something she did not want to happen. As soon as that happens, the agency would be able to find her, and Hadley did not want to go back. So after the brief moments of holding the gun, she holstered it, placing a single hand to her forehead with a small groan. The healing of her wounds had slowed down too, although she didn’t notice that as much.
Taking a small step back, she lowered her head to stare at the ground, not sure if the stranger had left or not. Frankly, she was too busy trying not to pass out, because that would simply lead to no good. Another step, and another, before her back hit a tree. Sliding down the tree, Hadley sat in the grass, grasping onto her head. Yeah, cause now it doesn’t look like she’s some mental person at all..
