Vworp! Vworp!
The time rotter bobbled up and down.
Vworp! Vworp!
The most beautiful sound of the universe echoed the halls of the school before a tall skinny man popped out of the doors before facing them to turn the key in the keyhole, leaving the TARDIS lock herself up. The Doctor smiled lightly at his blue police call box before he looked around at the setting. It seemed as if he had materialized within some kind of school. A university to be precise. Nodding to himself, the Time Lord peaked out of the cupboard and snuck into the corridor. His converse squeaked upon the title. Shrugging as he couldn't help but to squeak the Doctor wandered down the corridor and though the halls of the school not really knowing where he was going but enjoying it all the same.
Memories could be very happy things, as well as very depressing subjects that could at times be too frail to toy with. The Doctor held many memories of his youth and childhood. A lot of these were dark, depressing, and only a happy collection involved the good memories. The positive memories of himself and his old friend running though Koschei father's crimson fields in the peak of summer. Those were the golden days when young Theta Sigma did not have to worry about being bullied by Torvic or his forty-four cousins. Because he was free.
Remembering his Fubble, Einstein who was kept under a box under his bed at the Academy made him smile. She was the light when he came back to his dormitory with a pile of deltas. But the young lad always thought his flubble to be a male until one day she attempted to mate with him and went into heat. Theta Sigma nearly got into a big pile of trouble with Professor Boursa.
Those days were over and passed. Gallifrey was gone now and it wasn't ever coming back.
Shaking his head he sighed and snuck into a classroom. The professor was lecturing about history as the Doctor could tell by the slideshow going on at the head of the room. Quietly he listened until the lecture ended when the Doctor huffed.
"Virgin Queen indeed, not so much." They had gotten married then he had deserted her and thus the Doctor reasoned she had tried to decapitate him the day he was touring Elizabethan London with Martha Jones.
Kicking his feet up against the table before him, the Doctor sat watching the class filter out of the room. He looked at the professor with interest for a moment before leaning back in his seat utterly board and half hoped a Physics lecturer would show up to amuse him with the inaccuracies in Earthling Physics-- which was just plain wrong from a Time Lord's understanding of the cosmos. But funny never the less.
"She never did like when I called her Liz." he half mused to himself getting lost within his own thoughts. "Always Elizabeth or Beth. Or your majesty."

After his run in with the Weevils and then running into more trouble on the way home next night. The man leaning back against the desk with a book in his hand, looked like he had been in battle. A bandage covered the gash that was given to him on his foreheard by a bar (Thanks to one too many beers). Then there was the sling he his left arm was in, he had broken fractured his arm when he slipped on the wet bricks of some alley trying to take a short cut on the way home. Today, the man known as Mister David Fox was wearing a white dress shirt and a dark vest with black slacks. A pair of combat boots finished off the outfit and his hair was spiked up in the front a little.
One the desk besides David's messanger bag was a journal with a plain brown cover and it hid the pocket was slightly. He had them both out earlier before the class came in, writing in the journal well more like trying to draw the watch on one of the pages. Lately, the dreams have been worse. The nightmares woke up him through out the night until the point where he had given up on getting any sleep.
The class was busy taking notes because they knew that by week's end there would most likely be a quiz or test on the subject. It was a smaller class, only about sixteen students or so. His smallest of the day. When it came to teaching, David tried his best to cover all the learning styles students tended to have. If the day had not been a rainy day, he would have thought about taking the students to the court yard for class. However, the slideshow behind him that showed some of the queen's history while he spoke about her. "Elizabeth became queen at the age of 25, and upon hearing of her accession to the throne, she is reputed to have quoted the 118th Psalm's twenty-third line, in Latin: "A Dominum factum est illud, et est mirabile in oculis notris" - "It is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes."
On 20 November 1558, Elizabeth declared her intentions to her Council and other peers who had come to Hatfield to swear allegiance. The speech contains the first record of her adoption of the mediaeval political theology of the sovereign's "two bodies": the body natural and the body politic:
Elizabeth I in her coronation robes, patterned with Tudor roses and trimmed with ermine.
My lords, the law of nature moves me to sorrow for my sister; the burden that is fallen upon me makes me amazed, and yet, considering I am God's creature, ordained to obey His appointment, I will thereto yield, desiring from the bottom of my heart that I may have assistance of His grace to be the minister of His heavenly will in this office now committed to me. And as I am but one body naturally considered, though by His permission a body politic to govern, so shall I desire you all...to be assistant to me, that I with my ruling and you with your service may make a good account to Almighty God and leave some comfort to our posterity on earth. I mean to direct all my actions by good advice and counsel.
As her triumphal progress wound through the city on the eve of the coronation ceremony, she was welcomed wholeheartedly by the citizens and greeted by orations and pageants, most with a strong Protestant flavour. Elizabeth's open and gracious responses endeared her to the spectators, who were "wonderfully ravished". The following day, 15 January 1559, Elizabeth was crowned at Westminster Abbey and anointed by the Catholic bishop of Carlisle. She was then presented for the people's acceptance, amidst a deafening noise of organs, fifes, trumpets, drums, and bells."
David took a moment to sit the book down and picked up a bottle of water, taking a sip from it. Unlike most other classes, David allowed his students to have a drink and snack. He tried to make class as easy and comfortable as it could be. His eyes looked toward the man who had made his way into the room earlier. He knew this week, the School Board was sending people along to review the teachers and their lessons.
There was a slight nod of his head to the man who was relaxing in the back of the room before he looked up at the clock. Seeing that class was almost over, he turned his attention back to the students. "Tomorrow, we will cover the poltical side of Queen and her views on it. Look over your book and her bio and write down any questions you may have. Your assignment for tonight, is to write a short review on her bio. At least one page long." Just as he finished up, the bell rung and the students were finishing up packing up their stuff before heading out the door.
David made his way towards the back of the class. "Not the most exciting class out there but it needs to be taught. I take it your the man, the school board sent along?" He asked.

Bordom. The Doctor knew all of this and much more in finer detail. He had meet William Shakespeare and the Queen herself on multiple occasions and had even went as far as living in Elizabethan England for a slight period. He pulled out his brainy specs and glazed at the board with a slight interest to see what the professor had to add to his knowledge.
Nothing new, nothing remotely exciting. Yawning, he leaned back in his seat and tried to keep still. The Doctor was always fidgeting, even as a Time Tot. Somethings would never change, the Doctor liked to keep on his feet and keep his mind ticking.
Mind wandering back to his found memories that he had spent with the Virgin Queen the Doctor blinked as the professor addressed him. He sat up abruptly in his seat and looked at him taking in the question at hand.
"Ah yes, that would be me. Ello then." He pulled out his physic paper and flashed it at the professor. "Doctor John Smith." He flashed a charming smile that seemed to generally be toxic to most beings he came across.
"So history eh? Queen Elizabeth the first. Not so virgin." He attention diverted to the board for a moment before he added something on the lines of, "Now Queen VIctoria, now she's something else. Unless you want me to go on a rant about Cleo." Cleo as in Cleopatra whom had at one point had snogged the Doctor. A lot of Earthling royalty did at one point at another, but never Victoria. He was with Rose then, and she was defiantly not amused. Still owed Rose ten quid for a bet about the Queen saying that she was not amused.
Shifting in his seat he moved to a position of sitting on the desk cross legged. His eyes looked over the professor before him and he felt as if he somehow looked familiar. But how was that possible if they never met? Then again, a lot of people looked like other people. Recently he thought he saw Rose everywhere when she was far far away in another time and another place.
"Enough about history, tell me about yourself."

History was one of the tougher subjects to make interesting and fun but he found things along the way. Today's lesson would be followed up by a movie on the Queen after the quiz. It was something he tried to do for the students now and then. A movie here and there or a trip out in the field. If it had been a more modern lesson, he might have taken them on a field trip to a historical place. When working in a school, all the lessons plans had to be approved before they could be taught so it didn't leave room for much.
After they lost one teacher last week, he knew that the school board would be sending someone along to check out all the other teachers. To make sure things were going well. Only he had known, seen the teacher when he had gone mad. Everyone else just believed that he vanished and left the city. David was still haunted by what the man had said to him. About how, he wasn't human and how he should avoid opening the watch unless he wanted everything back. At times, he could still hearing the drumming in his mind. All the bad things he was told about, how the race that he was suppose to be was gone.
Sure those things made the dreams make some sense but if it was true, it made him not want to open that watch. Sure he was alone know but at least he was a human and belonged somewhere. Ever since that night, he been carrying everything around trying to figure out what to do. But at the end, the watch had stayed closed. When the man spoke up and flashed something in front of him, his thoughts were broken. His eyes looked at the paper and then at the man. "Well then, Doctor Smith. As you can see the class went well and if you want to look over the lesson plans for the next couple of days, they are down on my desk." David turned to sit down on one of the desk, a hand coming up to rub the back of his neck.
Stick him in front of a class and he could handle teaching. Stick him in a spot where he had talk to someone one on one. Well it was harder for him and often was nervous. It wasn't something he was good at doing. Ever since he left the military, he had been on his own and avoiding getting close to people because he was afraid of what they would think of him if they were to discover about the dreams he had. "Yes. Afraid one of the subjects, I am rather good at and one I enjoy the most. Well, history does have a way of not covering every little detail when it comes to personal things like that. Well, you missed us covering Queen Victoria. That was about three weeks ago. As for Cleopatra, I'm not sure when we are covering that queen." David always loved the medieval days. With the knights and battles though if he had to be honest, he loved dinosaurs and learning about those times.
"You seem to know history rather well, was it your major in college?" He asked, hoping to keep the subject off him. The man before him looked familiar but he couldn't place when or where at the moment. So the question was going to help him out after all the other man looked about the same age as him. Then came the question, he was hoping to avoid. His eyes showed a bit of nervousness in them. "I'm afraid there is not much to tell about myself. I went to the University of Glasgow. Then from there I enlisted into the British Army served for a couple of years before I was injured. Told I couldn't serve anymore and from there, I started to teach. Been teaching for about a year now." He said, trying to give a very brief statement about himself without saying too much. Just the basics, he wasn't good at about opening up and sharing about himself.

What was history? Something that had occurred was what was in most dictionaries. To a Time Lord, or any Gallifryain history was much more complex and detailed than a timeline of events. Time never acted in a line, it was more of a ball of whibbly whobby timey whimey stuff-- as the Doctor had always described it. Things were bigger than the future or the past. To a Time Lord there were fixed points and flexible points, the future was any time exceeding the present only used for a standpoint and same for the past which proceeded the present point of direction. It was only a guide. A way of explaining things to make it clearer. Time was much more complex in nature and cosmology played a bigger role in the universe than a mere event in the dot of the cosmos.
Frankly, the Doctor was not aware of the school losing a professor. He had no idea why a board member of the school would even be visiting. He only said that because he was a man whom played many parts as detective work was fairly elementary to him as he did it all the time. It kept his brain working and busied and one never did fancy a bored Doctor as the Doctor adored showing off more than anything. He loved letting people know he was clever.
"Naw could careless about those. I know you know what your doing." He didn't care to look though a pile of paper. Paper wasn't concrete, not when anything at all could occur during the lesson that wasn't planned out. For instance, a mere question could toss the whole lesson into the discussion about King Henry the eighth or archery rather than going on about Elizabeth's fondness for Sir Francis Drake. "Besides, I'm not much keen for papers. I'm a hands on guy myself."
"Oh well," he said with a slight cherry tone in his voice. "Maybe next time eh?" He added just to make sure he didn't sound too alien, too out of place, he needed to blend in and act in his newly adapted role.
Nodding, the Doctor appeared to be paying attention when his mind was taking in the details of the Humaniod before him. He could be alien, it was a possibility but defiantly appeared as a Humaniod.
"So your not going in chronological order. Oh, I like you ----" he paused as he didn't honestly know the professor's name. The Doctor pulled off his thickly rectangular framed spectacles and folded them into his inside pocket.
The Doctor, quite literally was a doctor of all things, he made things better and his knowledge was greater than any textbook found upon the planet Earth's. But he felt like he should remain in some context to make himself appear believable.
"Sorta, yeah. More of a sciency guy myself."
Listening he nodded now and then and smiled sympathetically at him as he too had fought in a war. The Time War. Nobody won, and nobody lost. It was a waste of time, blood, and Gallifrey. Shaking his head he remarked, "A modern John Watson aye?"

There was a history that belonged to David, the one he didn't remember. The one which he had removed and placed into a watch for safe keeping. The one that belonged to a Time Lord, a man who had done his planet proud until he tried to take the life another to end a on coming war. In failing to do so, he was forced to fight in that war while his family was held and threatened. However, he found out where that family was tucked away. Took their lives and then ran far away because the war drove him mad.
Any chance there was fighting around him, he ran away from it. Trouble was something he got into but never stayed around to face it. The day, he was drunk and tried to stand up against a wrong... let's just say it came back to bite him in the rear. Now that man was gone, tucked away until that watch would be open. In his place stood David Fox, a former officer and now teacher.
When it came to the missing teacher, not many knew about it. The school didn't talk about the matter nor brought it up. Only reason he knew about it was because he was there that night and one he could not forget. David didn't know that man wasn't from the school board after all he had seen the paper and then the man was dressed rather well. School wasn't something that he enjoyed but it was a steady job and something he could handle doing without having go back to school himself. He missed the days of being a part of the military and having that life. Here, he felt like everyday blended together but he didn't know what else to do.
"I am glad that someone believes that." Being one of the younger teachers at the school, it had its fair share of troubles. Older teachers watching over him and judging him. Another thing that didn't help out was that he was one of the newest teachers. He was still getting adjusted to some of the female students crushing on him. There was a slight nod of his head, he agreed with Doctor Smith with the hands on things. "School tends to be better when your able to work with more hands on lessons. Keeps things interesting. I don't much care for the paperwork either but its the evil of the job. Has to be done." He was thankful that most of it could be done over the computer these days, it saved a lot of time and less of a hand ache.
"Maybe next time, if they don't send someone else or have everything replaced by the computers. Seems to be the way things are moving forward. Talks of letting the students have laptops in class for next year." David wasn't sure how well that would that would work out but it could have it upsides to things. He was starting to relax a little more, the small talk helping but he wasn't too big on it. David was a more quiet person who most would have hard time just getting one word out of him.
"The books only really cover the history of England. I tend to toss in lessons about other leaders along the way as something fresh to do. Show what else was going on in the world at the same time, something else was happening here. Or if there is a important event happening here that is linked back in history and cover that. Oh... I'm David Fox. Should have covered that earlier, I guess." There was a slightly smile. There was no Doctor or any other fancy title to his name.
David couldn't really recall when he had gone to school or much of his past for that fact. Though his dreams are what he could recall the most. It felt like he had lived that life but he knew that couldn't be true with everything that happened in those dreams. The yellow shed looking thing bothered him the most with how it looked larger than what it was on the inside and how strange it was. David was brought back to the present by the other man speaking about how he was more of a sci-ency guy. "Well then, you might like your visit with Mr. Scott then. He's one of the science teachers around here."
When he was asked if he was a modern Watson, there was a slight shrug of his shoulders. David couldn't compare himself to Watson. After all, he was fighting hard not to be like the man in his dreams. Trying his best not to turn into that coward who seem mad at times. The man who was more scared than anything else. "If you want to believe than, then sure why not?" David moved back down to his desk. Picking up the water bottle, he took another drink from it before leaning back against the desk.

"Oh yeah, strong believer in it. I was horrible at testing back at school, always received delta minus-- practically failed my first time through. Mind I always knew the material. Kosch always said I had horrible testing anxiety."
Again he was rambling, and giving too much about himself away. Nobody used Greek letters as a marking system these days, especially not on Earth unless it happened to be in Greece of course. The Doctor's words perhaps might accidentally trigger some sort of response from the man who was influenced by a fob watch. The professors had spoken of this back when he was at the Pryodain Academy. Words can trigger things, and were very powerful tools if one knew how to use them just right. Luckily for the Doctor he was quite good at this skill as he strongly despised of the use of weapons and liked to solve things as peacefully as possible. The Master liked to mock him for this as did a lot of other spices as the Doctor was renowned for being a destroyer of worlds and even of his own home planet, Gallifrey which was now a dust pile of space junk orbiting around it's two suns. Frankly, the Doctor couldn't even remember if the suns had gone supernova or not. It didn't matter as the point was Gallifrey was gone and would never return.
Chuckling lightly he grinned, "I had a prof once who never ever used paper. Always did everything on the board or orally." That was his favorite professor Azmeal. Wonderful man, but he died. It was a sad day, Peri Brown was there with him when his old professor moved on. Even the Doctor couldn't help him as Azmeal had ran out of regenerations.
"Oh really? Most schools have already done so. Your behind. I think you should look into catching up. It helps you know, some people need the technology to help with note taking. There's a study on it, helps dyslectics." The Doctor announced looking as official as ever. Perhaps this would help cover his disguise. But it did sound a bit fishy that the University of Cardiff didn't let students use laptops when it was 2010. Unless the Doctor somehow made a wrong turn or it was not 2010, but he was pretty certain it was. October to be precise. It smelled of October or perhaps it was the orange hued leaves outside...
Pity, the Doctor only nodded to this and held out a hand to shake as that was a Human custom he had learned over his millions of visits to the Planet Earth. "Nice to meet you David Fox."
A smile peeled on his lips, "Scott as in Everett Scott? Or is that just Rocky Horror? I never get people and the references right.... oh well. It's the thought that counts."
His eyes watched the man as he again went for the water. It didn't seem right. None of it looked right. He had a hunch that something alien was stirring. Maybe it was even David Fox himself, he didn't know and it bothered him as something inside was nagging him that something wasn't right. But what? That was the question to which even the Time Lord wearing cherry trainers did not know for himself.
Standing up he moved to the desk and stopped by the bag as he had sensed something old and somewhat familiar. "Something here," he mumered to himself holding his hand over the desk. Eying David the Doctor inquired, "What's in your bag?"

"I think that it comes down to pressure. Some people are better at handling than others. Also there is age as one of the factors with that. Delta, that's a strange grading system. Went to school in Greece? The name is also something that is not commonly heard." David said. Hiding beyond him being on the edge and his nervousness, David was a rather smart guy. Though more often than not, he didn't show it. He stood there, not really listening ot the Doctor talk about how he had a teacher who never used paper, his mind was else where.
The more he had thought about the Greek grading system, his mind slipped back into the dreams. However this felt more like a memory to him. Him sitting in a school room wearing a uniform type thing, maybe it was a cloak... he couldn't see clearly enough in his mind. But there was a man standing in front of the class wearing the same brown like cloak, robe maybe.. He couldn't make out the words being said but could see on the board something about a vortex. Then there were moments of playing some kind of ball game in fields of red grass. It seemed like it was his life, like he had done it but it couldn't be true. There was no where or any time in his life that he had done them. David shook the thoughts away as he looked back, missing the question Smith asked about it beign really.
"I think the officials want to make sure the students are still paying attention in class and not surfing the web or talking to people online. They allow the students access to the computer lab and even have computer classes. Its more on making sure the school still produces good grades because its more funding for them." Daniel gave a slight shrug of his shoulders. His eyes glanced back over at Smith, wondering if he was on the school board then he would have known this already. It was the board's final ruling on the subject before school started up for the year. "They do offer extra help for students with special needs or even extra resources for them." He added.
David reached out with his free hand and shook Smith's hand. "I believe it is nice too meet you too." He lowered his hand back down after the hand shake. When Rocky Horror came up, Daivd gave a little smile. He remembered when he was dragged to that movie a year ago on Halloween. How there were people dressed up as the characters, how people shouted and threw stuff at the screen during parts of the movie. It was strange but it proved to be a good time even if he didn't really understand the movie. "I'm not sure, I don't know the man all that well. Being the new guy wasn't all that easy or all that fun. But most of the teachers around here were open to him, others not so much. Same thing went for the students.
His eyes watched Smith as he stood up and made his way around to side of his desk where his bag was. His eyes glanced down at his bag then back at the other man. "Some files, my journal ande my watch. Also my lunch but other than, nothing else. Why?"

Cloaked in crimson robes the young boy with bushy chestnut hair ran about trying to cover his way from the ever tormenting Torvic who loved to bully him over his navel. Theta Sigma skidded down the corridor's before skidding into class not realizing he was late for his lesson on planetary geology.
"Mr. Sigma, your late."
"Sorry sir," he mumbles before sitting down in his usual seat in the front of the classroom right in front of Koschei.
"Can you explain Bowen's Reaction Series?"
"Erm... well I-- uh.... well... um... it states that ---"
"I thought as much, detention. See me at four." Professor Boursa stated in a dry tone before explaining that Bowen's Reaction Series described how in cooling magma certain minerals could obtain higher melting temperatures and crystallize than ones at lower temperatures.
Theta Sigma mumbled to himself feeling guilty as he had already knew that but felt rather anxious around Professor Boursa....
"Hmm? Yeah, Athens.... " He said rubbing his neck to try and blend into the situation. He really needed to watch what he was saying because who knew-- things could fall a part so easily. The Doctor gave a slight grin at David before looking away. "I did this exchange program back when I was at Cambridge." Another lie but it helped solidify the situation at present. However the Doctor did have a few honorary doctorates from the University of Cambridge.
Nodding he looked like he was paying attention. The Doctor somewhat was but honestly wanted to look the part more than let his alien identity slip.
"A watch you say? Can I see it? I love watches, I collect them myself. Find them fascinating. Positively brilliant things they are." His eyes looked wide with delight much like a child's at a candy shop. The Doctor hoped he could see the watch as he had a feeling that he might not be so alone anymore.

David stood there looking at the man who called himself Mister Smith, wondering what he was lost in thought about. His eyes gave that way, it was like he wasn't there but some where else and David wish he knew what was going on in the other man's head. It was one of the few times that he found himself, wishing he could read other people better than what he could. Sure he watched people alot and could tell enough about who they were and what their fears and strengths were by the way they carried themselves but thoughts were not something he was good at figuring out.
"Must have been a lovely place to study. I haven't travel much outside the areas I went with when I was in the military. Though there is one place I rather not to go anytime soon and that is a desert. Too hot and dry for my liking. The college I went to, the only exchange programs were for China, France and the States. So I didn't take up the chances besides at the time, I just was in the miltary and it would have been too much trouble with requesting that from them." David said as he drank a bit more of the water before rubbing his shoulder, slidding his hand under the sling's strap.
His eyes glanced back at the bag, thinking about the question he was asked. Wondering if it was safe to let another hold the watch. The only time some else held that watch was the man who called himself Master had picked it up and handed it back to him. He wasn't sure if the other man saw anything from that watch. David knew it wasn't a normal watch and that it was a key to his past from what the Master had shared with him. He sat there wondering where that man had gone and if he was doing okay. David shook those thoughts away. "Its nothing special, just a cheap pocket watch.. Its broken." He said, as he noticed how the man's eyes had so much delight in them. David moved to grab the bag, not feeling so safe in the sharing the watch and hoped the other man wouldn't grab the bag from him.

"Brilliant," the Time Lord admitted without much though. He had been to Greece before. It was nothing new. He had met Plato and Alexander the Great. Brilliant men, had a lovely time and got rather drunk during the premiere Homer's Odyssey. His mind wandered to another time, another place, an alternative line of events. For a moment he was caught off his guard.
The Doctor looked away huffing for a moment before looking up at David. "Well, one day you'll have the chance." He truly hoped David was. He seemed like a good guy. And then there was the watch. He had too be. A warm feeling stuck his heart and made his inside's churn. It sparked into something truly wonderful.
The word broken stood out like a sore thumb. It screamed chameleon arch. Even the Doctor had given that a go at one time, he had became Doctor John Smith a professor at an all boy's college in London during the early twentieth century before the second world war fogged over England. Martha was there with him and he had fallen madly in love with a Nurse named Joan. They were going to get married but Martha snapped him out of it before the Family of Blood ruined everything. The Doctor punished them as he was not to be meddled with.
"It's not broken, it works. Nothing ever really is broken. Anything can be fixed. That's what I do, I'm the Doctor. I fix things." he said without realizing it.
"Let me see. Let me help you."

There were so many places that he wanted to see, to study and understand the history of them in person. He love to travel and wasn't sure of why but he really didn't have the money or time to all the traveling he wanted to. The military had been his answer for that until he had been hurt. Even though in his mind he had been to a handful of places, it never felt like he truly traveled there. He could tell that this Mister Smith had been caught of guard for a moment and he wasn't sure what the reason for that is.
"Hopefully so. Never know what the future holds." He said, not knowing that the man before had knew and had seen various areas in the future. David tried to be a good person, to be a different man than the one in his nightmares. The one who haunted him, felt like he was tanting him no matter where he went. The last thing he wanted was to be a murderer, to be a coward anything to be a better man he would do. His good hand reached over to the bag and grabbed it kind of protectively. Holding it for a moment as he stared down at the bag, he had only told one person of the nightmares before. They ended up getting chased by some creatures and had to jump off the bays into the freezing cold water.
Here there was nothing really for David, no loved ones, no one who cared about him and nothing to tie him down to this spot. Only that fear of being a coward and having to become that loner in his dreams. The one who he wrote about and feared. His eyes looked up at the other man when he said he was a Doctor and that he fixed things. The flags would have gone up if he wasn't so tired but he shrugged everything off to teh side. "Sometimes, things can't be fixed no matter how much you want them to or no matter how hard you tried. If its not ment to be fixed then it won't get fixed." David said, a part of the old him escaping. The man who had been tortured, lost his family and forced to fight even though he wanted nothing to do with it.
David reached into the bag and pulled out the silver watch with the strange carvings on it. His eyes looked down at the watch, in his mind he seen a moment of his past. The man before him was there, they were wearing the same robes. In the red fields on the outskirts of the city, tlaking but he wasn't sure of what.. It was lost when the other man spoke before. He jumped back at bit startled, haunted by what he just seen. David had dropped the watch with the action, he back up a little bit, scared and not to make of what he had just seen and how that man, Mister Smith could be in what he just seen.
