Situated in the underground base that had been constructed by the mind of such a creature that seemed to have a heart of utter hatred and of course no compassion was of course such a creature that was feared by the universe it was none other than the mighty Dalek, it sat amongst the dust and many failed experiments a long eye stalk protruding out of the dark golden dome that shimmered in the dim light. No movement stirred in the shadows of the underground lab apart from the insignificant insects that scurried up the walls or darted across along the metal flooring, the foreign machinery that was placed at random around the underground lab hummed rather quietly almost making sure the lab was never once just a silent underground lair that only seemed to be home to the mutilated human beings that had been abducted by the Dalek and thrown across the metal floors.
Jars of water like liquid substance bubbled constantly, inside them literally drowned in the liquid were test subjects mostly failed where as others seemed still to be at least in a status of excellence and doing partly okay. Computer monitors constantly monitored the 'alive' test subjects, beeping every now and then presenting who ever laid eyes upon the screen with a radiant green life line that seemed to show an almost perfect health on most of the still alive test subjects.
The dead light at the end of the eye stalk that jutted out of the dome had flickered into life as the Dalek awoke from a sleep like state, the light now seemed to glow a rather bright sapphire and with a rather loud whirring sound the eye stalk spun around scanning the scenery that surrounded the Dalek. One of the many foreign machinery that hummed softly had quickly began to beep at a rather fast pace, hastily the Daleks dome had revolved around along with eyestalk that jutted out of the golden dome and without a second thought the creature had moved slowly forwards. Despite the lack in speed of the Dalek, no matter how far you ran it would always be there - Slowly catching up with you.
As it had neared the apparatus that beeped relentlessly without fail of any kind, the Dalek had already worked out the cause of the sudden beeping. The device had quickly detected a fluctuation in the Rift or 'Rupture' in the fabric of reality, of course the Dalek had little care for this and had quickly returned back to the jars of bubbling water the computer screens that had frequently monitored the status of the test subjects had now presented a dark screen which could have only meant that the subjects had failed but it was to only be expected they would fail once again like they had seemingly always done in the past.
It would be now that the Dalek would have to once again enter the Earth's surface and of course attempt to abduct another human for his experiments which would be likely to fail once again, so why did the creature ever bother to carry one if there was hardly a chance there would be the slightest bit of success in amongst the many failing experiments. "Activate teleportation" Croaked the Dalek in a cold and astringent tone, the voice sounded rather robotic and almost sounded like the creature was screaming from inside the Dalekanium armour.
A shimmering white light had engulfed the Dalek, it wasn't too long before the bitter creature that seemed only full of hatred had arrived on the Earth's surface. The night was cold and like any night rather dark, but the cold feeling never effected a Dalek. All they seemed to feel was the warmth from inside the Dalekanium armour, never had this particular Dalek felt the cold from outside never.
