So this was 21st Century Cardiff, the place where his clone was sent to. The one who cause all that damage that one night. Summoned all the weevils to the surface and caused the to strike in important places to tie up the Police, Medics and all those others. And the same clone who took Captain John Hart as a prisoner to do his bidding that night.
Oh how easy it was switching himself out with that clone. After Hart left him to find some bar the week after Hart had rescued him. Gray got his hands on his own Wrist Strap and teleported to this one planet and had himself a clone made.
It was the first step in his plan. Then when Hart had passed out then came the bomb that would bond with his arm. Gray had been watching from the shadows as Hart buried Jack alive. It was good but it didn't take away the hurt and pain he still could feel. The pain from years of being tortued, the feeling of being left behind...
Forgiving Jack wasn't something he knew how to do or even wanted to. It hurt too much as he watched his brother run ahead without him.
Now here he was, in Cardiff. Standing on top of some building over looking the city. He hated this city and the century mostly because his brother liked it so much. But it was loud, smelled too strange for his liking and it made him think about the man he hated...
Long gone was the brownish shirt and those pants that were filthy and had been the thing he had worn when he was freed. A World War Two German military jacket was worn over a black shirt. A pair of cargo pants also black and a pair of boots finished off his outfit. It seemed to fit his personality well and they were more comfortable then what he wore before.
What brought this man whose Green eyes were full of pain, hate and anger to this city that he hated so much?
It was the clone, he could tell it was dead. The cold storage Jack had stuck the man he believed was his brother in him had caused the clone to fall aparted. He had finally stopped feeling it in his mind. Which he was thankful for, however it left him with another issue..
What to do about his brother? Sure by now Jack would have noticed the clone. So why not show up here and cause some trouble to lure out Jack. Gray opened his wrist strap and looked down at the display. It was time to start. With a press of a few buttons, he opened the vortex behind him. Coming through the vortex was twenty Blowfish with mind controling devices attached to their heads.
Gray had programed the Blowfish to seek out the hospitals and attack. What better way to get Jack's attention then that? It would raise some flags but once Jack was out, he could carry out part two. Gray used a gps to track the Blowfish who had found a hospital about twn minutes after summoned them.
He stood outside, watching the people as they ran out of the building screaming and for their lives. A smirk came across his lips wondering how many lives had been taken so far. The chill of the night wasn't something he liked nor was the breeze but he was tucked in a door way across from the hospital, waiting for the man of the hour to show.
The screams, the cries were something he loved to hear. Sure many would think there was something wrong with him but how many of those people had gone through what he did? If they had, they would have been a little turned on by this like he was. One thing that could make this better was killing and hurting them himself. But he was saving that for a very special person who should be showing up anytime.

The man who lay in cold storage was never far from Jack's mind. It seemed strange after he spent so many years looking for Gray and now he was down in the basement, so close to him now. There were still times (when no one was around) that Jack headed down to the basement vaults, sitting on the floor with his back to the storage units... and would just talk. It didn't matter what about, sometimes it was apologies and other times it was about nothing in particular. It was the only way Jack could think of to make up for the years of pain he had inflicted on his brother.
Even being buried under Cardiff for all those years, Jack had yet to forgive himself.
No, he hadn't noticed the clone -- Jack had been too busy burying members of his own team, and salvaging those who were left. Not to mention hiring replacements.
Shortly after the attack on the hospital, across Cardiff the call came through the Hub. (Well, more like Jack intercepted the call, but who was counting?) It seemed simple enough, a couple of blowfish causing a ruckus, so Jack didn't bother getting the rest of the team. He figured he could subdue them and be back before it was time for his afternoon phone call with the PM.
At least, that was the plan when Jack hopped into the SUV and raced toward the hospital.
"Bloody blowfish," Jack muttered as the SUV screeched to a halt in front of the hospital. He hopped out, greatcoat flapping as he unholstered his webley.
Quick and easy, that was the motto of the day.

Time wasn't something he knew how to keep track of, so he couldn't tell how long it had been since he sent in the clone and laid out the evil plan he had been working on since he was free and heard what Jack was up to. Whatever time had passed was spent torturing people when he needed to feel that rush, traveling around and getting what he could to get the most out of life. To make up for all those years that were spent trapped and being tortured himself. Sleeping wasn't something he did unless he couldn't continue on so it get gave him plenty of time to do those things. He never let anyone close to him because he was afraid of getting left behind again.
However during that time, Jack was usually on his mind at times. Oh how much he wanted to make Jack go through what he did. He thought about ways he could do that and he seen one of Jack's weakness was his team. Though he had taken two members away, there still remained two. And he had plans for them and they would make Jack suffer greatly. Gray knew the best way to hurt someone was to take away their loved ones before moving in for the kill.
Oh he could have gone about that without making this splash but he wanted to see if Jack had the guts to hire anyone knew to the team. His eyes closed as he listened to the panic around him, a very sly grin on across his lips. His arms folded across his chest as he leaned against the side of the one building. The thoughts racing across his mind on what he could do, wanted to do and the best ways to make Jack suffer the most. To give him a taste of what he had gone through himself. It was only fair after all and Gray didn't know any better. Those aliens, stripped away everything that made him human. He forgot what it felt like to be loved and cared for. What nice and caring was suppose to be.
His thoughts were broke when he heard the sound of a vehicle pulling up. When he noticed the all too famous black SUV of Torchwood, his grin grew into something more sick. Then Jack's voice ran through his ears and a smirk was given. Time to get this show on the road... Gray moved out of the shadows slowly. Before he was standing not far from Jack, his eyes just looking over his brother. So much hasn't changed since the last time he seen him but soon that would change. Gray stood there, saying nothing. Wanting to savor this moment as much as he could, waiting to see what his brother would look like the moment it dawned on him who was there. "Well, Well. I would say your looking good but then when aren't you?" His voice kept low as he spoke.

Of all the things Jack expected, hearing the sound of his brother's voice was the absolute last thing on his mind. As far as Jack knew, Gray was currently tucked away in the Hub, in cold storage. Jack knew -- there wasn't a day that went by that he didn't think of his brother and sometimes late at night, Jack would sit in the cold storage, his back against the bank of cells and talk to him. Morbid, perhaps, but Jack's guilt over what he had done would forever gnaw at him.
Suddenly, the incident at hospital was forgotten as Jack turned his head to look at Gray. Somehow, seeing his brother in this garb almost made more sense than the futuristic apparel he had worn the last time. It made no sense that he was both here and back at the Hub, though it wouldn't take Jack long to work out the whole idea of a clone.
Could it be that the sadistic bastard they'd met before was nothing more than a body double?
Yet, seeing his brother wearing the garb of the Germans made Jack wonder if this was going to be worse than the last time. The RAF versus the Nazi -- it almost seemed poetic in a sick sort of way.
"Gray," Jack breathed, shoving his hands into his pockets. He rolled his shoulders, letting an impassive mask slide into place on his face. He cocked his head to the side, giving his brother a bit of a smirk. "I always look good." he crossed his arms in front of his chest, fixing his brother with a level stare. "You look good for someone who's supposed to be a bit on the chilly side."

When the upper hand in this was given, it would be to Gray. Anyone who knew him would have thought was stuck frozen in Torchwood. Then again those here that knew who he was, was only his brother's team. He could see the surprise in Jack's eyes, he wished it was fear though. Gray found himself wondering what went through his brother's mind and heart when he had to do something to him again. Instead of leaving him this time, he had to freeze him and he wondered how badly that hurt Jack.
The blowfish were his way of luring Jack away from his team and away from Torchwood. He needed Jack alone at the moment. Though he wished it was for other reasons than the one he was here for. Not long ago, he was able to grab what he needed from the other Torchwood once he managed to steal what he needed to fix up his wrist strap. The clothes he were more comfortable than those futuristic stuff his clone worn. (which used to be his but the change in clothing was needed) The idea came to him after he seen what his brother was wearing. He knew what the clash between the two military units stood for and what the Germans had done during that time. If he went back in time, he would join up with the Germans. Gray was just that cold and hated human life.
The left sleeve of the jacket was still torn up from his escape and the arm was still bandaged. His knee twisted and took what he had not to limp or show he was injured. Showing any weakness to his brother would be something he would not do. ""Jack" Was simply said after his name was said, his voice lacking any emotions. A part of him wished he had what his brother did, unable to die or end up injured. "Cocky as always." Gray shifted a little as his green eyes looked around the area before pulling out a remote and pressing the button to kill the blowfish inside the hospital before tossing the remote off pass the both of them.
""I'm sure you know that is not me down there in your cold storage. Clones are handy at times and gave me a chance to gather all the Intel that I wanted to. Though it was me who stabbed you and made your former love bury you alive. Made the switch afterwards." Gray explained to Jack before looking around again as if he was half expecting someone or something to appear and attack him. ""Let's cut the small talk and get to the point of this visit...." His voice cut off. He fought himself on saying the next part, he didn't want to but he could do this alone. And the last thing he wanted was to end back from where he had come from.
"I need your help"

A few things became clear to Jack in a few moments: mostly that he had been duped, and duped by his brother once more. Jack remained silent, letting Gray talk while Jack let his mind work through what was going on. He had come to the conclusion of a clone moment before Gray revealed that secret, but he was glad for the bit of confirmation. However, seeing Gray before him now, Jack knew that this was going to be a lot worse this time aroun. Still, he kept his face blank.
Jack wasn't afraid, no, not for himself -- but he was afraid for the rest of his team. Hell, he was afraid for Ianto. Jack knew one thing for certain: he couldn't let his brother know about his feelings for Ianto for he didn't want his lover to be used as a sort of pawn.
The German versus RAF was beyond interesting and Jack almost wondered if Gray had spent any time on the battle field. Honestly, he wouldn't have been surprised if he had.
He winced when the remote was pressed, realising it had all been a trap to separate himself from his team. Gray had style, he had to admit, even if it disgusted him as well. No matter how much the blowfish gangs bothered him, the waste of life still pissed Jack off.
"I had a feeling that's when," Jack said, crossing his arms infront of his chest. "Afterwards... it just didn't seem like your style." He snorted loudly.
"You need my help? You buried me alive and you decided to separate me from my team. Forgive me for doubting the sincerity of your words." Jack cocked his head to the side. "So. What do you need?" May as well figure out what he needed.
Jack gritted his jaw. Even if he still blamed himself for everything that had happened to Gray in the intervening years, he wouldn't let himself be swayed. Gray (even if it was his clone) had been responsible for Owen and Tosh's deaths. Jack wouldn't let himself be tricked again.

If a study group were to take a pair of twins, stick one in a loving and caring surroundings and stick the other twin in cold, dark and unloving surroundings. Let both be raised in those surrounds doing the opposite on each one. They would end up with one child that is a child any family would be proud of... the other would end up like Gray did. Unknowing of what love and care was. A cold heart and a kid who sought out to get revenge for what was doing to him. Acting on violence because he didn't know any better, that it was the only way he knew how to. Maybe there was a chance for him to change but it was small. However, as long as he carried the pain of being left behind and not knowing any of those things that were good and loving, he wouldn't change. That and he enjoyed doing what he could, if one could call it enjoying.
Those green cold eyes of his looked straight ahead at the taller man who was his brother. How he spent endless nights awake, looking for his brother to come in and save him. That moment never came and he was trouble having find it in him to forgive Jack (then again, he didn't know how to forgive.) The one thing he wanted the most was for his brother to take him in his arms and tell him that it was going to be okay. That he was safe now and nothing would ever harm him again, if he could have that it would take him a long while to believe it. There was no reason for Jack to be afraid at all, if things were different then he might want to be afraid. Gray knew how to handle his brother, what to do take him away from his team. How to break that team down and get at them one at time. The greatest pain he could deal Jack was taking his team away from his brother.
World War Two was a period of time that he had spend in. The battle fields and watching the Germans do what they did, was were he got some of his ideas and wanted to explore some of those things more. Though, he had not really carried through on those yet (Maybe one day soon). The only reason he had gone there is because he wanted to see what his brother liked so much about it, why he dressed the way he did. That and to find the common enemy to the British forces at the time. When he seen who that enemy was and what they done, he couldn't help but to snag a uniform for himself. It was too good to pass up.
As he stood there (hating the cold weather), he wondered if Jack had figured out the reason why he was wearing those clothes, wondering what was going on through his brother's mind at the moment. A brow was raised when he noticed Jack wince after he had pressed a button the remote. It was something he would process and figure how to use that reaction against Jack again at some point. The ways and values in his life up to the point where he had been taken was stripped away and all that left was there was a being made out of torture, hate and pain one that sought to get revenge for what happened to him. To him, life held no value or reason so when those blowfish and lives lost inside, didn't mean anything to him. "Clones, only get as good as you pay for. Anyways.. When I stabbed you that was pay back for you stabbing me in the back. You have no idea how long I waited for you to come save me.. how I was haunted by the sight of you leaving me behind." He told Jack, trying to keep his anger in check and his voice low even though he struggled with it.
"You are the only one who can help me that I know of. The only one with a building or whatever you want to call that place that is called. They are looking for me Jack! They want me back and I can't go back. I won't last through their torture again. I can't do it. Sure I buried you alive and killed you. But you left me and I wanted you to suffer like I did. I could have easily took you to them, to let you suffer more like I did but I didn't." Gray said, his eyes narrowing and he swallowed back the anger that was running through his body. His back turned towards Jack as he took a deep breath, wondering why he even though of coming to Jack, why he thought this even would work. Maybe he should just kill Jack, chain him up and then take over the Hub for his own needs.
